[Now] I\u2019m playing in<strong> <\/strong>Vaso, and I don\u2019t want to play in these other clubs for one reason only: Vaso is the only black-owned club in the area. And I went to school with the daddy whose son now owns the business.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>[At the time of posting this, one of Frenchmen&#8217;s newer venues, The Royal Frenchmen, is<\/em> a <em>black-owned venue as well<\/em>. <em>Cafe Rose Nicaud was another black-owned business, but it closed just before the pandemic.
